Before you say anything, let us tell you - this will not be just another abduction story. Please read very, very carefully...
I was walking down the street when I saw a store sign that read, “Do you have the guts to enter our spookiest sale of the year?” The coupon code on it said HALLOWEEN2021, so I went in, not knowing what to expect.
It was dark inside with all sorts of Halloween decorations. Scarecrows and ghosts were hanging from the ceiling, skeletons dressed as shopkeepers, and some zombies were wearing tattered clothes. Tables were set up with various candies; everything looked like they came straight out of a horror movie! A tall alien figure approached me and asked if I had any questions about their products.
I opened my mouth to say something and froze instantly. Something in the store window caught my eye - it looked like a glimpse of ... an alien ship...? Why do they have an alien ship in the store’s backyard?
The tall figure suddenly gestured toward me and said something about abduction.
“I’m sorry, what?”
“Our sale lasts until November 7th, and we are abducting…”
OMG, is this going to be an alien abduction? Are they, like, physically, abducting me?
I started screaming. A tiny portion of my mind briefly entertained the idea of me being featured in all international newspapers.
“...10% off of your orders.”
Screaming stopped. Wait, what?
“Our Halloween sale lasts until November 7th. Use the HALLOWEEN2021 coupon code, and we will abduct 10% off of your orders.”
Based on an almost true story that almost happened today.
